TBS Today, April 11

It's already been a busy week, with a fire that displaced two (one man sustained minor injuries), the discovery of a woman's body in the water at the Berkeley Marina and a sexual battery case that's unfolded over the past week at UC Berkeley.

We're told there's been an arrest already in the UC Berkeley sex crime case and asked UCPD for info earlier this afternoon.

NBC Bay Area happened to be reporting on campus when the man was taken into custody.

We're seeking more information about all of these incidents and will share updates as we have them.

Speaking of sex crimes, BPD has just announced moments ago that it is trying to identify the victim from a sex crime report March 1 in the 2400 block of Warring Street (near Dwight Way). They believe it may relate to a sex crime case we broke the news on last week — but said details are limited due to how the report was filed.

BPD asks anyone with information about the incident on Warring Street or that may otherwise be related to last week's arrest of Jonathan Castellanos-Miller to call the Sex Crimes Unit at 510-981-5735.

In case you missed it, Monday's story on the Jasper Wu case is also well worth reading.

We will keep working to share details about the DA's office that you won't find anywhere else and continue to see a strong positive response to our work.
