Gallery: Solano Stroll draws crowds to Berkeley, Albany
Featured reader photos capture the longtime street festival, which turned 50 this year.
Crowds packed Solano Avenue on Sunday for the Solano Stroll's 50th anniversary, with bikes, bands, bubbles, carnival rides and even a few snakes.
More than 100,000 people attend the event each year.
Hundreds of local businesses and nonprofits take part, with performances from school bands and local entertainers throughout the day while much of the 2-mile-long street is closed to traffic.
Below, we've featured photos from readers (thank you!) and some of our own.
