A man is facing charges after setting an arson fire "near structures and a densely populated encampment" in northwest Berkeley, according to court papers.

UPDATE: Authorities ID'd the deceased man found near Rosa Parks on Monday as Oscar Armando Medina, 67, of Berkeley.

A reader said he was found on Eighth Street, a quarter of the way up the block from the school.
