Contractors who found skeletal remains in an abandoned UC Berkeley building nearly two years ago say they told a Cal supervisor — but he never told police.

Frustrated by the inaction, the workers ultimately reported the remains to the University of California Police Department in January of this year, which is when the skeleton at Clark Kerr Campus came into the public eye.
