Friday afternoon's exclusive story is about a cold case rape solved through DNA by Berkeley sex crimes investigators.
According to court papers, a woman had been walking near San Pablo and Ashby avenues when a stranger began to follow her in his car on July 1, 2010.
She was knocked unconscious from behind a short time later and woke up in the stranger's car.
We also had the news today that a cyclist was hurt when a driver intentionally struck him and ran over his bike in downtown Berkeley on Thursday night, according to BPD.
