2 arrested with drugs, cash after Flock traffic stop in Berkeley
Police found large quantities of cash and illegal narcotics in the car, according to initial reports.
Berkeley police arrested two people Monday afternoon after getting a Flock alert about their wanted vehicle, authorities report.
A reader who saw the arrest underway just south of the police station asked The Scanner to learn more.
Berkeley police initially got the Flock automated license plate reader alert on Adeline Street at about 2:50 p.m., records show.
Minutes later, officers converged on Allston Way and surrounded a red sedan, ultimately arresting a man and woman, BPD said.
