Public safety town hall
Supervisor Keith Carson is holding a town hall event about public safety Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It's at Beebe Memorial Cathedral at 3900 Telegraph Ave. in Oakland.
Invited public safety officials include California Attorney General Rob Bonta, Alameda County Public Defender Brendon Woods, Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price, Alameda County Sheriff Yesenia Sanchez, Oakland Police Chief Floyd Mitchell and others. BPD will also be there.

No new Berkeley election updates
There haven't been any new election results posted since our update Wednesday, but we are keeping an eye out for them.
