This just in: Another woman is in critical condition after being struck by a driver today in a Berkeley crosswalk.

We are seeking more information, but here's what we know.

The crash happened at Seventh Street and Heinz Avenue just before 3 p.m., Berkeley police said.

In case you missed it, we had the terrible news yesterday that a woman had died after being struck by a driver in the Berkeley Hills earlier this month.

The community is grieving Julia Elkin this week. We are still hoping to reach her family.
