TBS Today, Jan. 30

We have a number of updates for you today on the Berkeley crime front, from a report on the Apple Store to exclusive news on several recent cases solved by BPD.

We were planning to go to the New Parkway tonight to see Stripped for Parts, a documentary about the "secretive hedge fund that is plundering America’s newspapers and the journalists who are fighting back."

Alas, duty calls.

We had to give away our ticket and will instead be back at the Berkeley City Council to see what happens with a surveillance camera proposal from Mark Humbert and Ben Bartlett. See Item 29 for background.

We'll likely be tweeting and aim to have a story tomorrow.

NB: Both Parkway shows are sold out. If anyone wants to have a mini-screening party when Stripped for Parts is otherwise available, feel free to let us know!
