"Emilie Raguso is welcome to attend future press conferences organized by the office of the Alameda County District Attorney," the office said.

We also have fantastic news on the membership front: The Scanner has blown well past 1,200 supporting members, adding about 80 new members since Wednesday. We're now a hair over 1,220.
And today was our largest single-day gain on record.
This is a huge accomplishment — many thanks to all of you who let your contacts know about our work.
The extensive coverage by other members of the media absolutely played a huge role.
