How to make major gifts to The Berkeley Scanner
The Berkeley Scanner accepts tax-deductible major gifts of $1,000 or more through our fiscal sponsor, Bay City News Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization based in the Bay Area with tax ID 83-0654488.
There are several ways to make a tax-deductible donation.
Whichever method you choose, please specify that your gift is for The Berkeley Scanner to ensure it comes to us.
We recommend starting with a note to TBS to help us watch for it.

Checks can be made out to Bay City News Foundation and mailed to 900 Hilldale Ave., Berkeley, California, 94708.
1) Write "Berkeley Scanner" on the memo line to earmark your gift for TBS

Make the recommendation to your donor-advised fund in three easy steps:
