'Significant injuries' after crash on Telegraph Ave. in Berkeley

Berkeley police have closed Telegraph Avenue between Derby and Parker streets for a collision that sent a young man to the hospital Friday night, according to early reports.
Police sent an advisory at about 10:40 p.m. asking people to avoid the area due to the road closure and investigation.
"There is no vehicle or pedestrian access at this time. Please use alternative routes," police said.
