Police investigate sexual battery near Berkeley High
Someone called 911 to report the incident, which took place Friday shortly after 5 p.m.
A woman standing on the sidewalk was groped by a teenager in downtown Berkeley on Friday, authorities report.
Police said the woman was in the 2000 block of Allston Way when a boy, who appeared to be 16 or 17 years old, ran into her.
The teenager initially apologized but then grabbed the woman's breasts before running away, police said in response to a Scanner inquiry.

Friday's sexual battery report follows a robbery and assault Wednesday that also took place near the high school campus and involved teenage boys.
