Man, woman found dead in car at Aquatic Park in Berkeley

Two people, likely there for days, were found deceased in a car at Aquatic Park in West Berkeley over the weekend, authorities report.
Someone who noticed the pair in a parked car shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday alerted a group of volunteers doing a trash cleanup. The volunteers called police.
Berkeley police and firefighters responded to the scene in South Aquatic Park and found the vehicle in a disabled parking spot.
Berkeley firefighters arrived first and determined that both individuals in the car were deceased.

The Alameda County coroner's office then responded and took custody of the bodies.
