Today, we were very fortunate to connect with Luis Soto to learn more about his younger brother, Diego, a local father, cook and BMX enthusiast who was recently hit by a driver in a Berkeley crosswalk.
Diego suffered severe brain injuries. It's unclear whether he will walk or talk again.

“He might wake up tomorrow or he might wake up in a month. It’s hard to predict,” his brother, Luis Soto, told The Scanner.
