The Berkeley City Council will meet tonight due to the Veterans Day holiday on Tuesday.

Unfortunately, we can't be there because we plan to be on campus to see what happens with the Turning Point event.

Tonight's council agenda is set to include fire code updates and the adoption of the 2025 California Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) Code (items 9 and 10); as well as BPD's Annual Surveillance Technology Report (Item 11), which summarizes data related to police use of body cameras, GPS trackers, security cameras, license plate readers and more.

We'll aim to review the report and the tape.
