BPD: Retail theft suspects busted after return to Lululemon
Police found stolen merchandise from a retail theft in their car, police said. Flock cameras aided in the arrest.

A Flock license plate alert helped Berkeley police catch wanted retail theft suspects after they hit the local Lululemon for the second time in days, authorities report.
Police responded to Lululemon, at 1901 Fourth St. in northwest Berkeley, on Tuesday just after 1:30 p.m. in response to the Flock alert, BPD said in a prepared statement.
Officers arrested one of the suspects, a 17-year-old boy, after he ran out of the shop with more than $900 in pilfered goods, authorities said.
The teenager initially tried to flee from officers but was quickly detained, police said.
Two other people in his vehicle — the getaway driver and a lookout — were also arrested.
Inside the car, police found merchandise that had been stolen from the Berkeley Lululemon over the weekend, "further connecting the individuals to multiple retail theft cases," Berkeley police said.
In that incident, the crew stole more than $900 in goods, which led police to start looking for their car, BPD said.
Police said one of the suspects had just been arrested in September after stealing from the Walnut Creek Lululemon.
Berkeley police identified the suspects as 18-year-old Trevaughn Bailey of Oakland and two 17-year-old boys.
As of Wednesday, Bailey remained in custody at Santa Rita Jail after being charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and being an unlicensed driver, all misdemeanors, according to booking records.
He is scheduled for arraignment Thursday.
No information was available about the other two suspects due to privacy laws that protect minors.
