TBS Today, Aug. 27

Several stories in the works today but somehow it's already 3 p.m. and we're running to the annual Berkeley Chamber meeting.

(It's great to be part of the local business community!)

Today's brief: A woman drove into the San Francisco Bay in West Berkeley last week, resulting in a medical evaluation.

Witnesses said the woman got out of her car and began walking away after driving into the water in Berkeley.

We spent the morning in court catching up on records research after a hearing we planned to attend was postponed.

We have several recent cases and proceedings to write up, in addition to some city development news.

Stay tuned for more in-depth stories in the coming days.

Downtown Berkeley's newest mural is called "Seeds of Berkeley" and it's 340 feet long.

The artwork, by Ferran Torres and his team, Wall and Wall, is located at Center and Oxford streets.

According to the Downtown Berkeley Association, the fence only just came down.
