Young man robbed near UC Berkeley by group of 7
Police spotted the suspects in the neighborhood about 25 minutes after the robbery and arrested them.

A man in his 20s was robbed by a group of armed men and teens while walking near UC Berkeley early Friday morning, authorities said.
The incident happened at 2:20 a.m. on Bancroft Way, Berkeley police said in response to a Scanner inquiry.
"The suspects threatened the man with handguns and took his property," BPD said. "The suspects then walked from the area."
Berkeley police spotted the group in the neighborhood about 25 minutes later, on Telegraph Avenue south of Bancroft Way.
Officers detained all seven people: five young men and two 17-year-old boys.
They also found a loaded handgun in a vehicle associated with the group, police said.
The arrested individuals were identified as Angel Ramirez Lopez, 18, of Fairfield; and six Vallejo residents: Nassim Mahioufe, 25; Riadh and Rayan Mahioufe, both 19; Keith Epps Jr., 18; and two 17-year-old boys whose names were not released because they are minors.
They were arrested on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy, and one of the 17-year-olds was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a concealed, loaded firearm, BPD said.
Booking photographs may be available next week, police said.
