Teens arrested in Berkeley after crash following Flock alert
BPD said officers caught one of them right away while Albany police found the other a short time later.

Berkeley police arrested two teenagers early Thursday morning after getting a Flock alert about a stolen car.
The alert initially came in at about 1:45 a.m. about a white Infiniti on College Avenue near UC Berkeley, BPD said in response to a Scanner inquiry.
Berkeley officers spotted the car on The Alameda a short time later traveling with a Honda Accord.
When police tried to stop the cars, both drivers took off "at a high rate of speed" and, at one point, crashed into each other, authorities said.
The Honda ultimately came to a halt after crashing into a power box in North Berkeley at Solano and Santa Fe avenues, but the Infiniti managed to get away, police said.
When the driver of the Honda crashed, the occupants of the car jumped out and tried to flee.
BPD said officers caught one of them right away while Albany police found another a short time later.
Both individuals, ages 15 and 17, were issued citations and released to their parents, authorities said.
