A witness told police Ashley Walker went to his car and grabbed a gun after saying “you want to play,” BPD wrote.

We spent a very long morning at court catching up on the Guillermo Medina Reyes case. He entered a not guilty plea. Despite international interest last week, no other media outlets were there. We haven't written a new story, but we'll continue to follow the case. Catch up on past coverage.

In other news

We had a great time on National Night Out speaking with so many of you (and trying not to eat too many cookies!). We tagged along with BPD and had a chance to catch up with lots of friends and readers.
