A man who arranged a "sexual meeting" with a young girl in Berkeley is now facing felony sex crime charges, court papers show.
Andrew Joseph Reagan of Suisun City was 33 years old when he met up with the girl at the Berkeley Marina, Berkeley police wrote in charging papers.
The girl's age at the time of the meeting was not available, due to privacy laws that protect minors, particularly in relation to sex crimes, but court records put her at younger than 14.

The Alameda County district attorney's office charged Reagan this week with unlawful sexual intercourse, three counts of lewd acts on a child under 14, contacting a minor with the intent to commit a sex crime and arranging a sexual meeting with a minor, according to court papers.
If convicted, he could be sent to prison due to the nature of the crimes.
On Thursday, Reagan was arraigned in an Alameda County Superior Courtroom and released on his own recognizance after entering not-guilty pleas in connection with the case.
Reagan was ordered not to contact minors without supervision or use social media or dating apps.
