Starting Friday at 5 a.m., Grizzly Peak Boulevard, Panoramic Way and Prospect Street will close to non-residents for 24 hours.

City offices and facilities will also be closed for the holiday.

Free community carnival and picnic at Grove Park on July 3
At this annual event, kids can enjoy games, inflatables, a petting zoo, and sports. We’ll also have hotdogs, burgers, popcorn, and cotton candy. Bring your kids out on July 3 to our annual carnival and community picnic – a day of food, games, and activities with fellow Berkeleyans.Children are invited to jump on giant inflatables, race through an obstacle course, or play a variety of sports. We’ll also have carnival games, a petting zoo with bunnies and goats, and a tot-zone for your little ones.Listen to music, take pics in the photo booth, and eat lunch – on us! National Night Out 2025- Registration Now Open
National Night Out is back for 2025. This event is planned for Tuesday, August 5th and registration is now open. National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen our community by encouraging neighborhoods to build stronger relationships with each other and with their local Public Safety and City Officials.The registration processes this year is again online with an interactive map to assist you in finding an event in your area.
