Two men named Jose Lopez are facing numerous felony charges stemming from a Berkeley police investigation into the carjacking of a pizza deliveryman.

The case seems to be yet another example of catch-and-release, with various charges dismissed and reduced late last year through a plea deal that resulted in probation without any supervision.
