Berkeley officials call for action after traffic fatality
Walk Bike Berkeley called the roadway “fundamentally unsafe” in a letter this week. Council is set to consider the subject Tuesday night.
Repeat offender picks up 2 burglary cases hours apart
During an arrest in 2022, police noted that Peter Nothof “appeared to not believe that there would be consequences for his actions.”
Safety ambassador intervenes in attack near UC Berkeley
The ambassador ran up to intercede when he heard the fight and saw a man standing over a young woman readying to deliver a kick, SafeBears said.
