Today's crime feature: A man has been charged with taking $10,000 in Wunder Puff jackets from the Berkeley Lululemon shop on Fourth Street as part of a retail theft scheme, court papers show.

Police say Doyle Young Jr. went into Lululemon on back-to-back days and stole more than 30 jackets. Young, a convicted robber, is also on parole.

We also shared the news on X last night about a Berkeley pilot who died in a plane crash Tuesday in Concord.

According to News 24/680, which broke the story, Jacek "Jack" Romanski was 75 years old.
