TBS Today, Jan. 8

Two new stories for you today after a rather busy weekend.

  • Burglars broke into Creekwood Restaurant in Berkeley for the second time in about a year, shattering the glass front door and stealing cash from the closed business. It's the latest in what appears to be a spike in commercial burglaries citywide.
  • A Berkeley stabbing suspect who fled to Georgia has now been charged with attempted murder after an unprovoked attack outside a Chase Bank branch last year, authorities say.

We have the scoop for you on both stories.
