Alert: Stabbing, attack in the Berkeley Hills

Berkeley police and firefighters have responded to Overlook Road in the Berkeley Hills after a woman was stabbed and others reportedly hurt, according to preliminary reports.

When they first got to the scene, in the 900 block of Overlook Road, the woman appeared to have no signs of life.

"Ma'am, can you hear me?" a police officer could be heard asking over the radio.
