[Berkeley firefighters](https://www.berkeleyscanner.com/topic/berkeley-fire-department/) had to cut the man out of his black Toyota at the scene. The crash, which also involved a black Honda, took place at Dwight Way near Milvia Street at about 3:40 p.m. Firefighters were initially dispatched to an extrication assignment, with a vehicle "flipped on its head" and possibly two patients, according to emergency dispatches. When they arrived to the 2000 block of Dwight, they found one person trapped in the car.
