Two major news developments to share this morning: a fatal pedestrian crash and the closure of the Ohlone Park homeless encampment.

We're still working to learn more about both stories and plan to post updates throughout the day.

Plus, a brief announcement from BUSD dispelling rumors this week of ICE visits (along with what we know about how the rumor began).

Last night, we sent a news alert about the Claremont Avenue crash to Scanner members.
