It's the third (non-injury) shooting in Berkeley since early Thursday morning. Councilman Mark Humbert, who represents the Claremont-Elmwood neighborhood, encouraged anyone with information about Friday morning's shooting to share it with police as soon as possible. "The gunfire in our neighborhood this morning is deeply unsettling, but I am relieved that no one was hurt," he said. "This incident reinforces the importance of our new automated license plate reader system, and I will work to put pressure on Caltrans to approve installation in the outstanding locations." [More gunfire in Berkeley — this time on Tunnel RoadIt’s the third shooting in Berkeley since early Thursday morning.
