- A 2-acre vegetation fire on Grizzly Peak last night started because of fireworks. Police are investigating. ICYMI: We've updated the story we published late last night.
- BPD is also investigating an armed carjacking attempt in broad daylight in one of Berkeley's most popular shopping districts.
