Today's stories: another lithium-ion battery fire in Berkeley; the latest on the UC Berkeley gunman (scoop!); and a spate of auto break-ins at the North Berkeley BART station.

We've also learned that auto break-ins are up 18% in Berkeley this year completely aside from the BART break-ins — so be sure not to leave anything valuable or possibly valuable in your car.
