# Berkeley Apple Store theft suspects arrested in Vacaville

Vacaville police arrested at least two men Thursday in connection with a theft at the [Berkeley Apple Store](https://www.berkeleyscanner.com/topic/berkeley-apple-store-thefts/) earlier that afternoon, authorities report.

Police found the men through their license plate and stopped their silver Honda in Vacaville at about 4 p.m., BPD said in a prepared statement. 

Limited information was available due to the ongoing investigation but police said three men were in the car when they were stopped and that at least two of them had been arrested on suspicion of organized retail theft, burglary, grand theft and conspiracy.

Their names were not immediately available.

On Thursday, [Berkeley police](https://www.berkeleyscanner.com/topic/berkeley-police-department/) said two men had gone into the Apple Store on Fourth Street at about 12:15 p.m. that day. 

They stole 16 iPhones, six iPads and four MacBook computers, then fled in a silver Honda before officers arrived, according to BPD.

After the men were stopped in Vacaville, BPD said, Berkeley police investigators went to Vacaville to bring them back to Berkeley Jail. 

According to BPD, the two men who had gone inside the Berkeley Apple Store during the theft are now in custody at Santa Rita Jail. 

As of Friday, the third man who was in the car when it was stopped in Vacaville did not appear to be in custody at Santa Rita Jail and it was unclear what his status was. 

BPD said more information should be available next week.

Until recently, most Berkeley Apple Store thefts seemed to have gone unsolved or required lengthy investigations before arrests were made. 

This week, however, police made arrests in connection with thefts at the store on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday, BPD arrested three people in Oakland, and [recovered all of the stolen property](https://www.berkeleyscanner.com/2024/02/07/crime/berkeley-apple-store-crooks-steal-40-50-iphones/), after that day's crime.

On Friday, BPD said the items stolen Thursday from the Berkeley Apple Store had not yet been recovered.

Police said they are now investigating possible links in the case to other Apple Store thefts around the Bay Area.

**Update, Feb. 11:** The men were identified as Lavel Lemmons, 20, Shawn Coulter, 20, and Neil Harvey Dicen, 23, in booking records online.
