Good morning.

Our latest Scanner deep dive shines a spotlight on Alyx Herrmann, who is presumed dead following her disappearance five weeks ago under suspicious circumstances.

Authorities say it is likely her remains that were found last week in Tilden park.

While most of the media attention in this murder case has focused on Herrmann's alleged killer, we aimed to learn more about her life, which was remarkable.

"She was fearless," her brother told us this week in an exclusive interview. "Everyone talks about how she would uplift everyone around her. Her spirit was just very strong."

We also share ways you can help honor her memory. Don't miss this one.
